Dr. Aniruddh Kumar Purohi

Dr. A.K. Purohit is a highly experienced neurosurgeon with over 35 years of practice in neurosurgery and 47 years in the medical field. He began his medical journey in 1974, completing his MBBS in 1980 and MS (General Surgery) in 1983 from RNT Medical College, Udaipur, Rajasthan. He earned his MCh in Neurosurgery in 1987 from SCTIMST, Thiruvananthapuram.

Although Dr. Purohit has not received any formal training abroad, his work has had a significant impact across India and beyond. He has been associated with prominent hospitals in cities like Mumbai, Jaipur, and Hyderabad.

Specialization in Cerebral Palsy

Dr. Purohit has made remarkable contributions to the understanding and treatment of cerebral palsy (CP). He has developed innovative methods to manage spasticity and dystonia, bringing relief to many patients. He has authored books, research papers, and delivered talks on CP, founding organizations like the Indian Family of CP and the Indian Academy of CP to spread awareness and support affected families.
